BIA's Brick Show is the only national tradeshow and conference for the clay brick industry

BIA's Brick Show is a conference for the clay brick industry. The Show includes educational sessions on important topics and networking opportunities during the Grand Opening Reception, a Golf Tournament and the Reception and Annual Banquet on the closing night of the Brick Show.

Brick Show 2009 will be held at the Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, Golf Club and Spa in Marco Island, FL. The Show dates are April 23-25, 2009. The deadline for hotel reservation is Tuesday, March 24, 2009. (More hotel information below).

Registration – Attendees
Registration is now open online for Brick Show 2009 attendees. Online payment is available, or you can fax or mail your payment after filling in the online registration form. Confirmation will be sent to you via email. Early pricing is available until April 16, 2009. After April 16th you will need to register onsite when the registration fees are higher.

Tabletop Contracts for Opening Reception & Breakfast
Thursday, April 23 & Friday, April 24, 2009

You can select your tabletop space online or you can use printed materials. Using the online selection process guarantees that you will get the tabletop you prefer.

Online Tabletop Registration is open. Select your preferred space from the floor plan and fill out the appropriate exhibitor information. You must read and agree to the rules and regulations before confirming your tabletop space. Payment for tabletop space can be made online to guarantee your space immediately.

You may also use the following links for printer-friendly copies of the exhibitor contract, rules and regulations and the floor plan.  Once you've downloaded and filled out these documents, please fax them to the BIA office at 703-620-3928 with your top three choices of space. Your tabletop assignment will be sent to you within one week.

Payment can be made via credit card or check and must be received within two weeks of reserving your tabletop space. For information, contact Bethany Smith at 703-674-1543 / bsmith@bia.org.

Members Annual Golf Tournament
Reserve a foursome for the tournament on Friday, April 24, 2009 at The Rookery at Marco. Registration includes green fees, cart rental, unlimited practice balls, and a boxed lunch. Golf course is nearby and transportation is included.

We will be accepting registrations for foursomes until March 20, 2009. To place your name on a waiting list as an individual golfer, email Bethany Smith at bsmith@bia.org. If there are spaces available, she will contact golfers after March 20th in the order in which they contacted her until the tournament is filled.

Spouse/Guest Get Acquainted Breakfast
The Annual Spouse/Guest Get Acquainted Breakfast will be held Friday, April 24 at 9:00 a.m. This is a great opportunity to greet your friends and make new ones. This event is included in the Spouse/Guest Registration Fee.

Tours
Tour #1 - Naples Trolley Tour with Shopping - Thursday, April 23, 2009
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $59.00 per person

Sit back and enjoy a ride on an open air trolley. A guide will deliver humorous stories and historical facts into a fun-filled tour that's both entertaining and educational. The guide will show sights of Naples from historical landmarks to world class shopping areas, local attractions, beautiful beaches and waterways plus much more.

Following the areas tour the group will have an opportunity to enjoy some of the most refined shopping in the country, including a wide variety of specialty shops, clothing boutiques, jewelers and art galleries. Guests will experience a relaxing afternoon strolling in and out of quaint stores and charming cafes, browsing for pleasure or buying for purpose. This unique and diverse shopping adventure will leave guests satisfied yet craving to return for more. Guests are recommended to wear comfortable and casual clothing.

Tour #2 - Everglades Excursion - Friday, April 24, 2009
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $129.00 per person

Come aboard a truly scenic tour of the Everglades. This eco-tour allows guests to experience the fascination and mystique of one of the most beautifully diverse areas in the world. The adventure begins as you depart the resort in a mini coach driven and escorted by a tour guide. The guide will provide full-narration of the Everglades, including facts on the distinct eco-systems and precious wildlife that thrive in the Marco Island area. Guests will be educated on everything from the history of the Seminole trading business to the strong conservation efforts to save endangered wildlife.

Next, guests will journey into nature's secretly preserved wilderness made up of 1.2 million acres of grasslands and hardwood hammocks aboard one of the safari airboats. Watch the alligators as they lay in the warm sun, snakes as they quietly slither through the mangroves or manatees as they raise their elusive heads out of the water for a breath of fresh air. Recognized as the most unique ecosystems in the world, the tour guide will lead the group through this natural wonder where you will encounter breathtaking panoramic views of the "River of Grass," lush vegetation and tranquility.

Once back on land guests will enjoy some of the Fakahatchee Strand State Preserve State Park on the Big Cypress Bend boardwalk, which provides easy hiking access along a 0.8 mile boardwalk. Here guests can walk past trees draped with orchids and other air plants, while ancient cypress trees tower above you. There is a small Seminole Indian Village at the entrance of the boardwalk. The boardwalk is great for bird watching and spotting alligators, otters and other wildlife.

Tour #3 - Dolphin Explorer Tour - Saturday, April 25, 2009
Time: 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $162.00 per person

Join the crew on the Dolphin Explorer, a 36 foot Coast Guard certified 28-passenger power catamaran. As part of the 10,000 Island Dolphin Project, guests can assist in photographing and collecting data on our local dolphins. If guests are successful in photographing an image of an unidentified dolphin not yet catalogued, that guest will get the photo credit and earn the right to name the dolphin. Trained naturalists will explain dolphin behavior, assist with photography, join you while you are collecting sea shells and explain local marine life including manatees, sea turtles, osprey, herons and other marine birds.

Make sure you bring your digital camera. Guests can have their photos printed right on-board. Also, for those who assist in the dolphin study, you will receive a signed and dated certificate for your contributions. The tour pick-up and drop-off is at the resort. Please wear comfortable, casual clothing and sunscreen. Bathing suits and towels are also recommended.

Join us at the Annual Banquet on Saturday, April 25th. Banquet tickets are included in Full Registration, Spouse/Guest Registrations and Day 2 Registrations.
